Follow these three simple steps to start bidding on our exclusive artworks and collectibles.

01
Step One

Choose Your Auction Platform

Live bidding is available exclusively on Bidspirit, Invaluable, Drouot and LiveAuctioneers.

If you’re not yet registered, creating an account is quick and easy.
If you’re already registered on either platform, you can go straight to Step 2.

02
Step Two

Register for the Sale on Your Chosen Platform

To participate in our upcoming auction, please visit our sale page on Invaluable, BidSpirit, Drouot or LiveAuctioneers.

Now that you’ve chosen your platform — Bidspirit, Drouot, Invaluable or LiveAuctioneers — it’s time to register for our upcoming auction.

  • On BidSpirit, click the “Get an approval from the auction house” button.
  • On Invaluable, click the “Register To Bid” button.
  • On LiveAuctioneers, click “Register for Auction.”
  • On Drouot, click “S’inscrire à la vente”.

Registration takes only a moment, but we recommend doing it at least 24 hours before the auction to ensure there’s enough time for approval.

For BidSpirit, we’ve prepared a step-by-step PDF guide to help you through the registration process.

03
Step Three

Place Your Bid

On the day of the auction, bidders must be available online at the scheduled date and time of the sale.

We strongly recommend entering the auction on your chosen platform (BidSpirit, Invaluable, Drouot or LiveAuctioneers) at least 5 minutes in advance to ensure a smooth experience.

Alternatively, if you are unable to attend the live auction, both platforms allow you to place absentee bids on your selected lot(s) in advance. Absentee bids will be executed automatically during the live sale up to your maximum bid amount.

General Auction Information

Buyer’s Premium

Please note that a buyer’s premium of 28% will be added to the hammer price of each lot.
This amount includes VAT and will appear as a single line in your invoice. The buyer’s premium is to be paid by the buyer along with the hammer price.

Condition Report

We encourage all bidders to inquire about the condition of lots prior to placing a bid. To ensure a thorough response, please submit your requests for condition reports at least 48 hours before the auction. You may reach us via email at bid@auroraathena.com.

Please note that a condition report is offered as an opinion and should not be considered a definitive statement of fact. Aurora & Athena accepts no responsibility for any errors or omissions. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that a lot is in perfect condition or entirely free from wear and the effects of normal aging. All items are sold as-is.

Leave an Absentee Bid

Can’t attend the auction live? We can place bids on your behalf, up to the maximum amount you specify.
This is done through a simple agreement — just contact us at bid@auroraathena.com and we’ll guide you through the quick registration process.

For any questions, feel free to contact us.
